I’m Billy Concarney and this is your end of regular season recap.

Last night was the final game of the regular season and to be honest there weren’t any big changes.

The Hackers finished first in the league and took last nights battle against the Fire by a score of 10-4.

Thanks to Dylan Warren who risked his top goaltending spot to fill in for the Fire. 

More on that later.

The Chill clinched second as they took the Slayers 10-6. Big news here was Justin MacKinnon finished off a strong season with a hat trick and a helper, but Justin Logan made a splash for the Chill and as a result, he gets the nod for our HFHL Player of the Week. He had 4 goals and a helper. Way to go Justin!

Last game had the Lynx, short by the dynamic duo of Sam and Stu Whidden matching up against the Sabres. Thank you to Brendan Hanrahan who stepped up for a last minute replacement for Peter Regimbald. 

This was a great game and in the end, the Sabres clinched 3rd by beating the Lynx 6-4.

So here is what we have

1) Hackers

2) Chill

3) Sabres 

4) Lynx 

5) slayers

6) Fire

Hackers get first dibs on the 28th time slots as they face off against the Fire. 

Chill get second time slot pick and will face the Slayers and last but not least the Sabres will face the Lynx and they will get the left overs.

Congrats to Justin Mackinnon who won the season scoring race. He plays for free in the 2025B season.

The goaltending battle was oh so close. Both goalies risked it all to do double duty and when it was said and done, Dylan Warren edged rookie Brendan Hanrahan to take top honours. Dylan had a save % of .847 and Brendan had a save % of .846…now how close was that!

Dylan gets to play for free in the 2025B season. Way to go Dylan!
