Rd 1 short view - Apr 30, 2025

Hey folks.
So here is the skinny.

Slayers vs Chill.
Good game. Slayers hung in but the Chill ended up taking control and win 7-3

Fire vs Hackers
This was a great game. Hackers facing off against the Fire yet again and it was a close one.
Hackers beat the Fire by a score of 6-4

Sabres vs Lynx
This one was close for the first two shots. Sabres scored first…but the Lynx sniped 5 in a row and that was the start of the end. Score ended up being 12-7 in favour of the Lynx.

So, that’s what we saw.
The three winners advance and the Fire grab the last spot to round out our semi final grouping

The Hackers will face the Fire for the third week in a row while the Chill will match up against the Lynx in the other match up. I said match up twice in one sentencehmmm

This weeks HFHL player of the week is Stu Whidden. He tallied 6 goals because he is a hog. :-)
Great job Stu.

Stay tuned for the times.
Thsi is Billy saying I’m tired and I need to go to bed.
Night!
