Yesterday say the final playoff picture decided after the following games

Slayers vs Chill

Very close game and not sure it mattered other than now the Chill know they can run with the Slayers.

Slayers won this one 8-7 due to a big third period where they out scored the Chill 4-1 and grabbed the win.

Slayers take the #1 seed into the playoffs.

Fire vs Hackers

Well the Hackers had their hands full with a short bench. They were missing Aaron Brown and Troy Winsor for some reason and Nick Dempsey was off due to a lower body strain. I think….

Things were close at the end of the first with a 2-2 tie. But the gates opened in the second and the Fire grabbed 5 goals to the Hackers 2 and it was looking pretty bleak. 8-3 after 2 for the Fire. The third was a bit closer but the Fire added 3 to their total while the Hackers grabbed 2, so it was all over but the crying with the Fire closing out their season with an 11-5 win.

Lynx vs Sabres

Well, not sure what happened with the Lynx but they had a major boycott in this one and had to pick up a couple of Hacks…well, one Hacker and one Fire in Myles Raymond and Matt Strum. Not to shabby.

The Sabres were locked in at second and missing their goalie…not sure, I think his name is Jason Boudreau. He signed up anyway…oh yea, fighting injuries from “that other league”…love ya Tony.

Well, whatever happened it was just a wash as the Lynx tallied 14 times to the Sabres 7.
